Also, when you comment on a post, you have the opportunity to subscribe via email to replies by making the selection as you see here:
You can also set up an aggregator, or feed, through one of the major services such as Yahoo, with its Yahoo Pipes, or Google, with its Google Reader. Both of those require you set up a free account, but once you have it set up you can direct any number of blogs or news feeds to it.
